Treatment Options

In order of least invasive to most invasive, treatment options include:

• Active Surveillance, sometimes called Watchful Waiting
• Percutaneous (pronounced: pûr”kyOO-tā’nē-us) Ablation
• Surgery, which your doctor may also call “nephrectomy” or “partial nephrectomy”

These options will be described in the next sections.
